Cancellation Policy

Early Cancellation Deadline

All registrations cancelled by 5 pm (EST), Friday, May 5, 2017 will receive a refund  minus a 10% processing fee.  

Late Cancellation Deadline

If you miss the early cancellation deadline, you may cancel your registration up until 5 pm (EST), Friday May 19, 2017, and you will receive a refund minus a  25% processing fee.

Transferring Credits Deadline

If you'd prefer to If you prefer, we are also able to transfer the cost of your conference registration to a credit for a Creative Nonfiction online class or to a friend who wishes to attend the conference but has not yet registered. If you choose to transfer your credit, you will not be charged a processing fee. Credit transfer requests must be submitted by no later than 5 pm (EST), Friday May 19, 2017.

How to Cancel or Receive Credit

Please send an email to Kaylee Ritchie (ritchie @ creativenonfiction.org) or call the Creative Nonfiction office: (412) 404-2975. 

No refunds or transfers of credit will be granted after 5 pm EST on Friday, May 19, 2017.
Please keep in mind that if you cancel or transfer your registration, Creative Nonfiction is not responsible for any cancellation fees charged by hotels, airlines, or other travel accommodations you may have to cancel.
