Christopher Mohar

Christopher Mohar is the founding editor of Colony Collapse Press, a small publisher of contemporary prose, and has been the recipient of a Carol Houck Smith Fellowship from the Wisconsin Institute for Creative Writing, the Southwest Review’s McGinnis Ritchie Award for Fiction, and The Journal’s Annual Fiction Contest Prize. Recent work has appeared in Lit, Gastronomica, Crate and “New Stories from the Midwest—2011.” He has taught writing at two UW’s (in Seattle and Madison) as well as in a men’s correctional facility; he has also worked as a metallurgical engineer, a busboy and a legal assistant’s assistant.
