Phyllis Raphael

Phyllis Raphael teaches in the undergraduate creative writing program of Columbia University’s School of the Arts. Her stories and essays have appeared in Vogue, Mirabella, Redbook, The Village Voice, The New York Times, Boulevard, and the anthology, “Seasons of Women.” She is a PEN Syndicated Fiction Award winner and is at work on a collection of memoirs from which “Afternoon At The Whitney” is taken.
