Steven Boyd Saum directed the Fulbright program in Ukraine, where he also hosted a radio show and was arrested only once. His essays, fiction and reviews have appeared in Salon, The Kenyon Review, The Christian Science Monitor and elsewhere. He serves as editor of Santa Clara Magazine.
