Andy Couturier

Andy Couturier is the author of Writing Open the Mind (Ulysses Press, 2005), A Different Kind of Luxury (Stonebridge Press, 2010), and The Abundance of Less (North Atlantic Books, 2017). He is an essayist, a poet, and a professionally trained writing teacher. His writing has appeared in newspapers, magazines, and literary journals, including Creative Nonfiction, Adbusters, The MIT Press, <em "="">The Japan Times, The North American Review, The Oakland Tribune, Kyoto Journal, Fiber Arts, The Writer, and others. He has taught writing at the SF Museum of Modern Art; the Institute of Transpersonal Psychotherapy; UC Santa Cruz; California State University, East Bay; and JFK University.
