Emily Rapp

Emily Rapp is the author of Poster Child: A Memoir (BloomsburyUSA). Her work has appeared in The Sun, StoryQuarterly, Narrative, Good Housekeeping, the Texas Observer, the Los Angeles Times, and other publications. A former Fulbright scholarship recipient, she was educated at Harvard University, Saint Olaf College, and the University of Texas at Austin,where she was a James A. Michener fellow. She received awards and recognition for her work from the Atlantic Monthly, the Jentel Arts Foundation, the Fine Arts Work Center, the Corporation of Yaddo, and others. She is the recipient of the Philip Roth Writer-in-Residence Fellowship at Bucknell University and the Rona Jaffe Foundation Award for Emerging Women Writers. She currently teaches in the MFA Program at Antioch University-Los Angeles.
