Rick Harsch

Rick Harsch is the author of several novels, one of which is taught at the University of Tasmania in a course on American film and literature. All of his published novels were translated into French by a publishing house that went bankrupt soon after. He lives in Izola, on the Mediterranean coast of Slovenia, is married to a woman named Sasikala, who has no interest in baseball, has a son named Arjun, who throws harder at age three and a half than Greg Maddux, and a daughter named Bhairavi, who at two years old is showing signs of developing argumentative skills that could lead to a managerial post someday.
