The Writing Pittsburgh Fellowship

The Writing Pittsburgh project is an opportunity for Pittsburgh writers to share their stories about the city with a national audience. The Writing Pittsburgh Fellowship is an opportunity to learn about small press publishing from the inside.

Fellows will work mainly on the Writing Pittsburgh project, but will also have the opportunity to work on other CNF projects, including the magazine and other books. Because CNF is a small nonprofit organization, the fellow will also have the opportunity to learn about everything—not just the editorial work—that goes into publishing a book (and magazine), from marketing to distribution to event planning.

We’re delighted to announce that Rachel Ann Brickner has been named the first Writing Pittsburgh Fellow for 2015-2016.

A second Writing Pittsburgh Fellowship will be awarded in 2017. Please stay tuned for announcements about application information.
